#1 Goes Down

Waukegan goes down to Maine South as 3 of the best players from Waukegan were suspended for the game. Their fight gave Maine South a punchers chance and they took advantage with a knockout in one of the final minutes! Glenbard East Dominance

In the 2nd half the Rams of Glenbard East asserted their will on the Tigers of Wheaton Warrenville South. An 8 point halftime lead ballooned into a 73-40 blowout, as the Rams showed why they only have 1 loss by 1 point on the season so far. As I (Rick Camp) predicted, the speed of the game by Glenbard East became too much for WWS. Ian and I both thought that this game would be a double digit difference, but not this big! An impressive win for the Rams!

Odd Happenings in Professional Sports

A lot of weird things going on in professional sports tonight! The Bulls got in a fight with the Bucks. James Johnson and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute got ejected, more details to come. Also in New Jersey, the Devils were down 3-0 to the Tampa Bay Lightning and then in the middle of the 2nd period, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT! The game had to be rescheduled. Maybe that will help the Devils get into that game.

Ram Domination

The Glenbard North Rams were able to keep their lead against the Glenbard North Panthers with a 72-59 victory. The guards of the Rams were able to dictate the tempo of the game and led the Rams to another DVC win.

It seems that as we have predicted the Rams have taken control of the game, as the guard play of Glenbard East has been overpowering against the Panthers. The big stat is that the top scorer of the Panthers James Fleming has 2 points at the half, he averages 20.2ppg.

Is there really any chance of a Panther comeback in the 2nd half? In the sportstownchicago.com studio it's a resounding NO.
