Benet wins in a shocker!

The Benet Redwings have upset the #1 seeded Glenbard East Rams 68-54 and have moved onto the Hinsdale Central Supersectional to take on Simeon, who defeated Mt. Carmel 55-47. The Redwings were led by point guard Dave Sobolewski with 32 points and was able to break the Glenbard East press all night.

Make sure to tune into the post game show to hear what Robert Zackery, Dr. Pete and I (Rick Camp) think about this upset here on sportstownchicago.com! Call us with your thoughts at 630-403-5200 or email us at Sportstownchicago@gmail.com!

Benet with the Lead at the Half

A big surprise in the Nequa Valley Sectional at halftime Benet is on top of Glenbard East 27-16. Dave Sobolewski leads all scores with 15 points and has almost outscored the Rams by himself! At the half Robert Zackary thinks the Rams will come back to win this game, however, I (Rick) believe Benet is proving they can hang and will hang on to upset the #1 seeded Glenbard East Rams.

Make sure to keep it tuned into sportstownchicago.com to see who wins this sectional matchup!

Holt to the Bears?

Robert doesn't like the idea of bringing in Torry Holt, I (Rick) am in favor of it and it seems like Dr. Pete is in favor of it too. Could he be the Bears #2 receiver, or the #4? Is he the veteran leadership the Bears' WR corps needs or would he just be the Bears version of Lindsey Hunter?
